New school for the Deaf completed
In Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, a new ‘Langue Colorée’ school for the Deaf has been completed by the contractor. Now the painting can begin. The school is located on the first floor of a building where the new Center Commercial also starts by and for Deaf people. The shopping center offers learning and work places for deaf people in five shops and five workplaces: a bakery, a furniture workshop, an art gallery, a clothing workshop and a plumbing company. The pupils of the new school can, of course, again get good practice examples from the shops for their lessons. This fits well with the Langue Colorée teaching method.
